Our Mission

Fresh Tech Solutions is dedicated to helping customers around the world preserve the quality, safety, & value of perishable products through the use of its proprietary processes, patented systems and science-based technologies.

Our Company

After years of research and development, Fresh Tech Solutions LLC was formed in 1998 to commercialize the proprietary and patented technologies of its founding members. The innovations began out of a need for improved controlled atmosphere storage options, and more precise and efficient modified atmosphere technologies to protect perishable products during shipment.

Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP) and Controlled Atmosphere (CA) for produce are not new ideas, but MAP and CA have come a long way since their first use. Through continued R&D, Fresh Tech Solutions has developed a number of proprietary and patented processes utilizing innovative, state-of-the-art features that include sensors, metering equipment, computerized controllers and automation that are unique to our Fresh ProTech® systems.

By providing a more accurate and commodity specific atmosphere, our systems have improved the quality of each treatment, which means better protection of the products being stored and transported. Fresh ProTech® equipment gives you better results, and at the same time delivers efficiency and labor savings as well as ease of operation.

Headquartered in Watsonville, California, Fresh Tech Solutions LLC has provided MA and CA systems and technical expertise to customers in California, Oregon, Washington, Florida, Europe, Canada, and Latin America. We serve produce, food and industrial companies with complete MA and CA solutions for perishable goods packed in shipping units such as pallets and bins.

In 2005, Fresh Tech Systems LLC was established to provide the Fresh ProTech® modified atmosphere technology to the strawberry industry. FT Systems operates under a worldwide license specific to the strawberry industry, and delivers a complete package to meet the needs of strawberry shippers including equipment, materials, supplies, and 24/7 operational support.
